Selection of 17 images. 2014.

Shot at a scrap metal processing unit within a few days, "Tales Of Brave Ulysses” (containing around 500 images in it’s entirety) sums up my contemplations on our “second nature”, the residues of our man-made environment charged with all kinds of technical, historical, economical, political, cultural content – in an epilogue that can be both relentlessly prosaic, to-the-letter literal and in-the-face — and almost tender, poetic, deconstructive and abstract, depending merely on the approach of the viewer.

For me, these pictures served as a crutch to finally reach closure after three years of work on “The More You See The Less You Know”, resulting in the book “NO LEDGE – Proposals For a New Sublime”.
